Please join us at the spectacular Roxbury Barn and Estate on Sunday, May 27 as the MARK Project celebrates 40 years of community building in our region!
The celebration begins at 3pm at the Hilltop Pavilion on the Estate. There you will be greeted with a large charcuterie and market table, beer, wine and specialty cocktails, and the swing sounds of Jeanne Palmer and Conrad Mohar.
At 4pm we will stroll up the path to the nearby pine grove of towering trees for an open air champagne toast to all those, past and present, who have helped and continue to help bring MARK to life.
From there it is a casual ramble down the sloping meadow of Spring Hill to the Carriage Barn where the party kicks into high gear. The beer, wine and specialty cocktails continue to flow as “The Torpedoes” catapult the crowd to the dance floor for some rockin’ 50s, 60s, Motown, and Rockabilly. The edibles evolve into a delectable culinary line-up of ongoing passed hors d’oeuvres and tapas, along with yakitori grilling and pasta stations.
At 6pm, former board member and auctioneer extraordinaire, Chuck McIntosh offers a weekend stay in the picture perfect town of Boothbay Harbor, Maine. This 3 bedroom cozy home is situated on a private road across from a famous river near Portland, Pemaquid Point Lighthouse and more. https://www.boothbayharbor.com
As our guest bartenders are sure to keep the spirits high, so will the cameo appearances by local celebrities and some very special star turn snippet performances giving our party goers the opportunity to pledge support to MARK while voting on your favorite performance.
