Peg Ellsworth, Executive Director of the MARK Project, came to the organization in 2008 with nearly 15 years experience in grass roots community based projects and programs. Over the years, Ms Ellsworth has developed and implemented activities that range from economic development and tourism based initiatives, to restoration, revitalization, and capital improvement projects. Formerly the Community Resources Director for the Town of Roxbury, Ellsworth was a driving force in the award winning Kirkside Park restoration and its complimentary heritage tourism programs. Her strong fundraising skills and dedication to building partnerships and collaboration has further enhanced the MARK Project’s reputation as the “go to” organization in the Central Catskills.
