WIOX is currently broadcasting in the “soft” launch mode and continuing through the developmental stages as a fully licensed and operational regional public radio station. This collaboration with the Town of Roxbury, GRLIC Foundation, Roxbury Arts Group, MARK Project and several schools, not-for-profits, and businesses will offer our communities the opportunity to have their voices heard…on the air.
On Friday, August 27, WIOX had a wonderfully successful Launch Party at the station located at Bridge St in Roxbury. Program hosts and DJ’s were on hand to meet the public with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 5:00 PM. People as far away as Walton and Bainbridge came to join in the fun and meet the staff.

For 30 years, MARK has provided housing programs, economic development and technical assistance services to the Towns of Andes, Middletown and Roxbury and the Villages of Fleischmanns and Margaretville.
