The MARK Project is a regional leader in support for preservation of our historic resources. We offer technical assistance with State and National Register nomination process, Historic Preservation Tax Credits, and overall best practices in community preservation activities.
The scope and depth of Historic Preservation projects vary based on the condition of the structure and in the absence of technical assistance and a support team, can result in a daunting and unmanageable project. Current and future use also plays an integral role in approach and practice. The MARK Project can connect building owners with the available resources that can help property owners develop their projects based on feasibility, incorporating modern use into an historic structure, energy efficiency and Historic Preservation best practices.
