MARK serves as a housing authority for its communities. We develop, build and operate affordable housing for low-income families and seniors. We operate eight apartments in Arkville, four in Roxbury and have completed 30 new units (16 apartments for seniors and 7 two-family homes for families). In addition to owning and managing rental units, we secure and administer a wide variety of grant programs that help low-income people repair their homes.

10 Church Street previously known as the historic “Beehive” building is located in Arkville and is the first senior housing and housing rehabilitation project undertaken by the MARK Project. Eight single bedroom units are the residences for more active seniors. Each unit has modern and energy efficient services including radiant block heat systems, municipal water and sewer, and trash and snow removal. With views of the shared, landscaped yard from each private porch or deck, the private home feeling is not lost in a multiple unit dwelling.
