Catskill Mountain Artisans’ Guild and “Art in Common”

The Catskill Mountain Artisans’ Guild is a consortium of fine craftsmen and artisans that operate a shop in the Commons Building on Main Street in Margaretville. The MARK Project, through grant and technical assistance, gave the Guild a leg up in their early days of operation. Now the Artisan’ Guild is an anchor shop in Margaretville and organizes the annual “Art in Common” series. In the winter months the Guild sponsors the “Art in Common” series in the Commons Building on Main Street in Margaretville, in the summer, they can be found at the Pakatakan Farmers Market giving breath to the “Art in Air” series .
